If you are a Hyde Park Art Association member, you will receive a 10% discount on all workshops. If you are not a member but would like to become one, please visit Our Membership Page.

DISCOUNTS FOR CLASSES:
To receive a discount you must click the “enter promotional code” link before you check out. The available discounts are:
Discount code: member (10%)
Discount code: siblings (10%) (must be in same class)
Discount code: senior (10%)
(you may only use one discount)

You can register online using Eventbrite, or you can fill out a Class Registration Form and mail it in with a check or pay by Venmo – @meninoartscenter listed under Business.

You can also pick up a registration form at The MAC. Checks are payable to:

2025 Workshops


Trashformation Workshop – Held In Conjunction with our “Recycled : Trash and Treasure : Rediscovered” Exhibition
Saturday, July 19, 10 am – 2 pm
Held at the MAC. $50.

Join us for a hands-on art-making experience inspired by the exhibition “Recycled: Trash and Treasure : Rediscovered,” featuring 65 imaginative works crafted entirely from recycled materials.

Create your own masterpiece using trash, discarded items, and repurposed materials—everything you need will be provided. Got something you’ve been meaning to transform? Bring it along!

You’ll be guided by four professional artists—Gail Bos, Matt Harman, Susan Strouse, and Sasja Lucas—all known for using recycled materials in their own creative practices.

No experience needed—just your imagination! Come ready to explore, experiment, and get messy. Dress accordingly. Work spontaneously. Discover the art in what’s been left behind.
